In Cincinnati, the busiest hours are Friday and Saturday evenings and any night with a big game, when quoted delivery times can stretch past an hour; ordering before 5 p.m. or picking up yourself avoids the wait. Delivery radiuses are small, often two to five miles, and a minimum order plus a delivery fee is normal, with a tip of a few dollars for the driver on top. Lunch specials such as two slices and a drink, or a personal pie, are the cheapest way to eat at most shops across Ohio on weekdays. Toppings are priced per item and half-and-half pies are usually free to request. Gluten-free crusts and vegan cheese are increasingly common but often cost a few dollars extra, and cross-contact in a shared oven is standard unless the shop says otherwise.

A friend who lives in Amberley Village suggested that our group of high school friends meet for lunch at Il Gusto, and it turned out to be an excellent choice. This casual New York-style Italian restaurant is conveniently located on East Galbraith Road in the Dillonvale Shopping Center, near Cross County Highway between Amberley Village and Blue Ash. There is a large parking lot with plenty of spaces, making it easy to visit. The restaurant has an attractive all-glass front that fills the dining room with natural light. Inside, everything was bright, spotless, and welcoming. You order at the counter, grab a bottled beverage from the refrigerator if you'd like one, and then choose a table in the comfortable dining area. We pushed a few tables together for our group without any problem. Although they do a brisk carryout business, there were also several people dining in. The staff was friendly, attentive, and helpful. They answered questions about the menu, brought our food to the table, and checked on us several times during the meal without being intrusive. The atmosphere was casual, relaxed, and fun. The food was excellent. My friends ordered calzones and strombolis, each with

Originally from NY we were very impressed with the margarita pizza, the garlic knots and the cannoli. The sauce was very tasty and pasta was fresh. The staff was very friendly and we enjoyed talking with Tony and hearing his family's story about their recipes passed down.

Wanted to try a new pizza spot and this one popped up with great reviews. Itβs a small shop next to the IGA, with just a couple of tables inside. As first-time visitors, we wouldβve appreciated a more welcoming greeting or even a quick rundown of the menu, but any lack of ambiance was completely overshadowed by *the sauce*. The marinara was absolutely incredibleβhonestly one of the best I've ever had, and I eat a lot of pizza. The veggies were super fresh, the dough tasted fresh, and you can tell the ingredients are high quality. The only real downside is that thereβs no accessible restroom for customersβyou have to walk over to the IGA. That alone would make us think twice about dining in, especially since they offer seating. I've truly never encountered that before. That said, if you're close by and looking for a great carryout option, definitely give this place a try. And that marinara? Iβm still thinking about it. π€€
